Activision Blizzard har sagt upp ytterligare 20 anställda efter utredning

Just nu undersöks Activision Blizzard av två olika myndigheter efter anklagelser om rejäla missförhållanden. Även om resultaten av dessa fortfarande är oklara, är det närmast en underdrift att säga att de har stora problem.

I samband med detta har många anställda, särskilt på Blizzard, avskedats eller lämnat företaget efter att det framkommit att de själva systematiskt trakasserat andra anställda eller varit medskyldiga till trakasserier på andra sätt. Nu meddelar Activision att ytterligare 20 anställda har fått sparken.

Via IGN säger Frances Townsend (som inledningsvis förnekade anklagelserna) att de har sagt upp 20 anställda som ett resultat av sin egen interna utredning:

"More than 20 Activision Blizzard employees have been fired since harassment allegations first came to light, according to Frances Townsend, Activision Blizzard's executive vice president for corporate affairs. In addition, more than 20 others have faced "other types of disciplinary action." Activision Blizzard's announcements came as part of a larger update in which Townsend outlined the publisher's response to the various allegations that have dogged the company since the summer. They include adding three more positions to the company's Ethics and Compliance team, with 19 more planned for the future. Activision Blizzard also says its will "triple" its investment into training resources."
