Filmskaparen James Gunn arbetar för fullt på Peacemaker, spinoff-showen baserad på hans aktuella DC-rulle The Suicide Squad, men projektet som ligger på allas läppar är nog fortfarande Guardians of the Galaxy: Vol. 3 - en uppföljare han nästan förlorade efter att ha sparkats av Disney. Nu ger han fansen en kort uppdatering om den kommande volymen, som han menar är en betydligt mer emotionell historia än föregångarna:

"I'm still shooting Peacemaker, but I'm starting to work on Guardians 3. For Guardians 3, the script has basically been written for a long time. I've been playing with it in little ways over the years, but it's basically stayed the same since three years ago. It's pretty heavy actually. It's a heavier story, so it's an emotional process to go through."

Han passar även på att Gunn berättar också att han i samband med inspelningen av Guardians 3 även kommer att filma The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special till Disney Plus, som han skrev klart för några månader sedan:

"That's a blast. I wrote that a couple of months ago, and I'm really, really happy with it. I'm going to shoot that at the same time as Guardians 3. So we're using some of the same sets. I think it's going to be a good holiday special."

Guardians of the Galaxy återvänder till biodukarna den femte maj 2023, medan julspecialen släpps mot slutet av 2022. Ser du fram emot galaxväktarnas återkomst?
